This was debuted on SYTYCD season 5 and I thought it was beautiful I was in tears as soon as they started dancing. Im a sucker for anything creative and its always a inspiration to me truly not just something cool or to follow a "INSPIRATION". i think i was moved because it was a dance done as a cancer tribute i.e the reason her hair is wrapped up. It hit close to home with me REALLY close to home being 1 who has lost 3 key people in my life to cancer soon to be 4. No sob story just fact thought id share.

Its 3:41am :/... I repeat 3:41 I think I have insomnia I mean I know I sllep during the day sometimes but this shxt is crazy. I cant watch tv cuz I get RESTLESS i can mabye watch a good hour then I gotta get up n do something not 2 mention t.v shows suck ow n days seems like crap gets dumber by the minute.

Duz anybody else

Miss music like this. I must admit I slap more 90's music then anything I think things had feeling there was more singing no flash and glitz less studio work real voice. Not to say theres no talent now but things are cloudyed by flash, makeup and a good producer.

I just dnt understand..

It fails me to grab the concept of whats behind wanting to be "The baddest bitch" or " Top notch bitch", "head bitch" whatever ya wanna call it. Myspace headlines seemed to be just adorned with the terms. Were has this come from why is it OK to be a bitch. Why is it glorified to be something that's derogatory. On my part I don't like it and I'm entitled to my opinion just the same way everyone is entitled to theres and I'm not knockin or hatin anyone who says it or likes it or anything. Cuz Im one to listen to any ones backing on any issue and if its legit then I can see your point of view although Iv tryed to see it from a different stance., BUT i have yet to hear anything legit on it and like I said I JUST dnt understand it at all. Maybe its me maybe I hvnt moved forward with the time maybe I never will but that's the way it go's 4 me.

No fashion

The finale part one of The Fashio Show. Now Iv been watching since the beginning filling in for my very much missed PROJECT RUNWAY. Since I have my own backseat to graphic design dreams of becoming a fashion designer this is the next best thing for me. From the very beginning boastful Reco Chapple has been my very favorite. Reco's work was always something daring and uplifting things I would love to be able to wear. The final was very sad for me almost sad enough that I dont even want to watch part 2 because he wont be in it.[ I will tho just to see who wins now! lol] Sorry if i ruined it for anybody :/.

Hatred towards our own?

No the tittle is not directed towards anyone and no theres not an extravagant story about a wild fight your going to have to look somewhere else for that. I chose to tittle it this because I just read the article Kierno Mayo wrote for the August 09 issue of essence[Idris Elba on the cover!]. Her articles about the hatred black females have towards each other why we put down, ridicule one another. The articles usually are things I can relate to but never fully seeing how there mostly for a somewhat older audience. Yet this one I think applys to ALL AGES. Iv noticed it everywhere myspace, bustops, twitter, facebook you name it. Theres always the I hate females line or females all act like messy bitches. Sitting at a bus stop females will give me sideways glances or laugh and snicker to get attention, dirty looks, muggin and the whole nine. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? Why duz everyone feel the need now to be hardcore despite having maybe a bad experience with one female or another duz NOT mean every single person is the same. I don't understand how everyone or I should say most got to this perception on females. It makes no sense to me Iv had plenty of girls give me shit, my share of gossip gone wrong, rumors the typical high school stuff. All of that and more and still cant say that I hate all females for myself I give fair chance to everyone. I don't dislike hanging with girls or simply thing every female has some ulterior motive. I sometimes wonder will going to a all black school be something disliking because most females are going to be mean or have attitude[ 4 no reason]. Will everyone size each other up, do we have to have the same old juvenile ass childish fights. Hopefully there are others who into meeting new people and breaking outta crap like that.

So will shopping in the french quarter there were A whole lot[stuff u jus dnt do moments]

-Do not attach anytype of fake hair to your head when your hair is not thee same color. So Im saying dont put in red/white tracks when ur stuffs black.

-Dnt think just because its ALL thee same print that it works purple, green,red,aqua plaid all dont work together.

-Must we wear hats w/ ponytails attached! I mean if it dnt work 4 lil mama 18-19 yr old self it aint gunna work for your 30 something self.

- Pro style gel.... prostyle is not your friend ladies. When u look like uv been playing in motor oil its become an addiction.

-O hit that prostyle again. STOP MAKIN DESIGNS WIT yo baby hair!!!! It aint cute I fully understand makin it lay dwn cuz i must admit I keep a toothbrush n some gel in my bathroom but the swoops and pushin it all out n round ya head is doing the UPMOST.

-K so now its cut to have the rebel cut up tees n jeans. If you suck at the d.i.y stuff dnt wear it out the house and it duz not work if ur over o mabye 25.

-Just cuz its hot duz not mean a swimsuit is clothing. [this female was walking round the superdome in a cutout 1 piece that did NOT fit and platform heels. Man we aint at the beach keep it classy]

-Boys Skinny jeans tighter then mine aint meant 4 u boo boo. When they look like leggings and ur feet look like a size 14 it makes me question ur manhood.

-MMM leggings wow. The muffin top has never been more exposed.

Essence day 1

Ok so huge post later, but while I'm taking my down time b4 i have 2 start getting ready 4 the show Id thought Id update. So I'm in the N.O 4 those of you who follow the hype lol Lil waynes hometown[Light bulbs] Yeahhh. 1. its so hot makeup is useless man and its that muggy sticky u-cant-breath type of hot. The weather is crazy it will thunder,hail and rain like here's finna b a hurricane NO JOKE and an hour later be right bac to being 110. Crazy enough about the weather tho. The real reason Im down here is THE ESSENCE MUSIC FESTIVAL[15th Anniversary]!! WOOT WOOT. I am so excited this is beyond a concert. Man there are so many black folks down here its crazy. So today kicked of the 1st day this morning the convention center opened were the had Tons of vendors, cateres, artists Keri hilson, Steve harveyohn legend and queen latifah came out to do CD&Book signings along with some performances. That's all fine and dandy then the reality set in. We are not organized! UGH Now Im a true Virgo and I only deal with my own chaos Nothing was in order stuff was set up but the pushing and shovin and yelling and pulling line jostling is not for me. I decided to forgo all that since none of them are worth my safety well [keri/ queen latifah kinda were] but i decided to jus look around enjoy all the vendors n such. Tonight is when the real action STARTS. The lineup 4 main stage; Salt&Pepa, Ne-Yo, Jhon Legend and Beyonce. Superlounges; Marva Wright, Eric Benet,Keri Hilson, Dwele, Solange, Funky nation, Sharon jones and sierra leone refugee all stars. The bold 1s the ones I'm seeing 4 sure. I'm super excited. Will post more later gotta go get ready ;]

Been GONE 4 A Min

Hvnt wrote anything in a while no im not quitting or focusing on just myspace at all. Jus been trying to pack. Grad trip to new Orleans for the essence music festival!! Super excited to not only see new Orleans especially after the Katrina renovations. Theres going to b a TON of artists and shows. I think the people will be different to there all so much more down to earth already i love it and iv only been here for an hour. Since my phone is tripping I cant post any of the great pictures I took but I will later. Update everyone on all the shows Im so excited ton of shopping and exploring to do haha wish my twin was with me :(. Got himself in trouble dumbass. Laterzzz.
